Director Service– Several services we provide to your group to make your event run as smoothly as possible. Some of these services include -Curbside bag service upon arrival. While your guests park , their clubs will be loaded onto a cart prepared for them. A scoreboard will be set up for you, and all your sponsor signs and contest markers will be placed on the course.

Lakes of Taylor was opened to the public for 9 holes of golf in June of 1995, along with the Lake House Grille and banquet center. Completed in 1996, the back nine opened to rave reviews. Of special note is the signature 17th hole with a peninsula green that demands a long, accurate tee shot over the largest of 5 lakes on the course. This golf club boasts a championship golf course, a first rate practice facility, a stylish restaurant, a 32,000 square-foot clubhouse, a well stocked pro shop, and elegant banquet facilities. Lakes of Taylor recently was named one of the top 25 courses in Southeastern Michigan, and has hosted national events such as the 2003 AAU National Golf Finals (Junior Olympics), qualifying events for the 2004 U.S. Senior Open, 2006 Junior Amateur and on May 15, 2007, the 2007 U.S. Open . The course features par-72 play from 5,119 to 7,028 yards and five sets of tees. The Lakes of Taylor has a country club style and atmosphere yet it is "open to the public." The Lake House Grille, located on the second level of the clubhouse, is a unique restaurant that beckons guests to it’s outdoor deck where they can enjoy delicious food with a view of the championship golf course below. The Lake House Grille serves incredible daily specials and their Holiday Brunches are truly ~ "Downriver's Best kept Secret." Outstanding service and refinements make "Lakes" a new step in municipal golf facilities.		Taylor Meadows was opened to the public in late fall 1989 as Taylor's first endeavor into the sport. The course was designed by the architectural firm of Arthur Hills and Associates and built around a large retention pond that serves a dual purpose. The first is as a flood relief mechanism for the surrounding homes, streets and businesses. The second as water hazards for hole numbers one, eight and nine. It serves its purposes well—the flooding of streets and basements is a thing of the past during large scale storms, previously a regular occurrence. Many golfers have cursed their slice as they watch hopelessly at a ball plunging into the water on the #9 hole. Recent improvements to the course include a renovated hole 17; the tee has been elevated and there has been some reconfiguration of the sand trap and the pond on hole 11– which has been extended and now plays a larger role on 17. The classic layout of Taylor Meadows provides for strategic shot values. Golfers will enjoy this original masterpiece as majestic hardwoods provide for one-of-a-kind backdrops to 18 truly original holes of golf. Taylor Meadows’ “friendly” feel spills over into the Greenside Grille and banquet facility. The Greenside Grille offers indoor and outdoor “greenside” dining with a menu that serves up a great array of sandwiches and salads. Golfers find it a great place to refuel and unwind after a round...and the rest of us love the food and the view!
