Larry Garner

Lawrence Garner started Garner’s Jewelry & Exchange over 23 years ago. The business is located in The Garner Building that was built by Farce Garner in the late 1950’s and has remained in the Garner Family for over 55 years. Originally, Garner started a hardware and a furniture store in the lower building while the upper portion was used for storage. In the 1980’s Garner renovated the entire building into office spaces. At the time Lawrence Garner was contemplating leaving his current career when an opportunity became available from an existing tenant in the Garner Building who owned a small jewelry store.

Lawrence Garner purchased the business and offered the opportunity for his family to work together. Three of his children, Cindy, Chris and Jon joined Lawrence as they opened its doors. Through the years, Garners have expanded and become the hidden treasure it is. In the late 90’s Lawrence ventured out fulltime into his real estate endeavors; Garner Properties. Currently, his daughter Cindy Quasarano is vice president and runs the day-to–day operation.

Garners’ currently has two locations to serve you – Redford and Taylor – Both locations are open Monday thru Friday and the Taylor location is open Saturdays.

Our Community Matters

The Garner family is also very community minded, Cindy and Lawrence Garner both served as past presidents of local Rotary clubs. The Garners have sponsored and participated in numerous charitable events in the Taylor community such as; Taylor Summer festival, Fishing Derby, Turn off the Violence, as well as, many others.

All repairs are done on the premises of the Taylor location, simple chain solders, replacement of clasps, some ring sizing can be done while you wait.
